Rough Month for the Weirdos
Well, we had to move out of the apartment we were living in because it was bought. They raised everyone’s rent. So, we moved .. with very little notice. We are now somewhat settled in the new place.. but just one day after our awesome movers got our couch up our winding staircase, we got a call from my husbands uncle. His dad was in the hospital and didn’t have long. I immediately made flight plans for 11am the next morning, the earliest flight we could get. Sadly, at 7am the next morning, we got the call.. he was gone.
So now we are waiting on all of Indy’s stuff to arrive. Luckily we are able to give the moving job to someone who really needs the money, our awesome mover who moved us a few weeks ago and was amazing. We know the stuff will be safe with him.
So we now have 1 immediate family member.. between the two of us. It’s a crazy thing that Indy has lost all his immediate family by 34. I don’t think we’ve had a year in the last 6, where someone important to us didn’t die. But life is often fleeting.. it is what it is.
